France Relance Plan: measures to boost exports

Organized on March 9 by videoconference, the Relance Export Tour Décoration enabled the Minister of Foreign Trade and Attractiveness, Franck Riester, to present the measures of the France Relance Plan to support companies in the export sector.occasion, several furniture manufacturers and exporters shared their experience, and outlined a post-Covid 19 world where digital will increasingly count to promote its brand beyond borders.

In a context that is currently difficult for all international trade, the public authorities are mobilizing to make the Covid-19 crisis a springboard to get French manufacturers back to export.This was the objective of the Relance Export Tour Décoration, an online conference organized by Team France Export, on March 9, attended by some 150 companies and representatives from the furniture and decoration sector, made up of Business France, the Banque Publique d'Investissement (Bpifrance) and of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry, this “France Export Team” has the function of supporting companies in exporting, in particular by offering them “one-stop-shops for export” in the French regions, and a “correspondent unique Team France Export ”for foreign markets.Throughout 2020, it organized webinars, digital showrooms - the“ French Design Corners ”- particularly in the USA and the Middle East, dedicated ions (the “French Design Days”), from which 150 SMEs in the sector have benefited.“The France Export Team has already planned many actions for 2021, in particular French Design Corners, as part of a program export established in partnership with the Maison & Objet trade fair, which defines five priority markets, Spain, Italy, Great Britain, Japan and China ”, explains Christophe Lecourtier, Managing Director of Business France *.
